Two of the most often-requested works of Tchaikovsky’s repertoire, Romeo and Juliet and Capriccio Italien close a program featuring Bruch’s evocative Scottish Fantasy for Violin with guest violinist Alexander Sitkovetsky and Jennifer Higdon’s alluring blue cathedral.

Tchaikovsky & Friends is sponsored by John E Wahl & Mary Lou Forier.

Alexander Sitkovetsky performed at Wigmore Hall in November 2009 as part of the Razumovsky Ensemble and Academy Series. This is a video of his performance of Tchaikovsky's Song Without Words.
