Lesson Plan: Opening Up Your Ears Activity

The lesson this week is a fun foundational activity for all ages, developing active listening and encouraging interaction with our environment. As you work with this activity, please remember that you are the expert in judging the appropriate difficulty of lessons for your children. We encourage modifications, and welcome you to share your adaptations with us.

As an additional extension, trying doing this activity multiple times throughout the week or in different rooms of your house, and see if your child can recognize and describe even more sounds around them!
