From the beginning of the pandemic, we pledged ourselves to act responsibly toward our patrons, our musicians, our staff and our community. It is now clear that proceeding to give full orchestra concerts in our usual venues is not possible. We have made a very painful decision to postpone our exciting planned season to safer, healthier times. This is only an intermission in the excitement of large-scale performance—we will continue to bring music to Tucson.

For our existing subscribers, 2020/21 subscriptions will be automatically applied to 2021/22. The best way TSO subscribers can support their Orchestra is to stick with us! Here are the options for existing subscribers:

  1. Leave subscription order as is. No action is needed to leave your subscription in place. Your 2020/21 Season subscription and requested specials will be automatically transferred to the 2021/22 Season. After rescheduled concert dates are confirmed, you will be able to make changes and free exchanges to your order to fit your schedule. Any previously-communicated change requests will be processed during the early summer months of 2021.

Again, no action is needed to leave your subscription as is.

  1. Take a gift certificate for the value of your subscription. This gift certificate credit can be used flexibly toward future ticket purchases. Subscribers will be invoiced for the 2021/22 season in early 2021, as usual.

  1. Donate the value of your tickets. This act of generosity directly supports your TSO and provides subscribers with a charitable donation tax receipt. Subscribers will be invoiced for the 2021/22 season in early 2021, as usual.

If none of these options work for a subscriber, we will offer a full or partial refund. For a partial refund, a donation, gift certificate, or refund can be combined. Refunds will be processed back onto the credit card originally used to pay or issued via check to those who originally paid by check or cash.
