Coppélia Ludmila Samaha was born in Tucson, Arizona and grew up in Sonora, Mexico.

She received a bachelor’s degree in International Relations, as well as a master’s degree in International Relations with an emphasis on the Middle East. Additionally, Coppélia has a master’s in Art History with a special interest in Art and Architecture of the Renaissance. She spent seven years working for Christie’s and Sotheby’s of London in the International Department of Real Estate. Coppélia regularly travels to different countries exploring their most prominent collections of art, while doing independent studies primarily at the National Gallery of London.

Coppélia was a Trustee of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra Board from 2013–2014 to 2018–2019 during which time she hosted “Parties of Note,” highlights of the orchestra’s fundraising and friend-raising events.

Coppélia is the owner of MedFix International.
