Diane Drewery

After 40 years in New York City and many years vacationing with family in southern Arizona, Diane and her husband Don Wilks bought a home in Tubac in 2018. They also bought a second home in the foothills west of Denver later that year. In this next chapter of a long and rewarding career in management consulting and executive coaching in New York, Diane continues to coach executives part time.

Most recently, Diane was an executive coach affiliated with Vistage International. For 17 years, she facilitated advisory board meetings and conducted one-on-one coaching with business and non-profit CEOs, small business owners, and key executives. In 2021, Diane was named an Emeritus Chair, an honor conveyed to long-tenured, high performing Vistage Chairs.

Previously, Diane was named the first woman officer at First Management Consulting Group, a boutique strategy and management consulting firm in NYC. Diane served as a Director of Strategy and Organizational Change in the Financial Services Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers. She also led international and domestic cash management operating divisions at Bankers Trust. Earlier, Diane moved to NYC to accept a management consultant position at Booz, Allen & Company. She earned a BS in Business Administration from Miami University (Ohio), an MBA from Wright State University, and a Masters of Leadership Arts and Sciences from The Thayer Institute.
Diane believes strongly in giving back to her community. Since moving west, she served for 4 years as president of her Tubac HOA, and now serves as the president of the women’s golf league at the Tubac Golf Resort. While in New York, Diane served on the board of the Financial Women’s Association of NYC, held leadership positions at her church, and served on her NYC coop board, including two years as president. Her involvement for Miami University, her alma mater, has included local alumni chapter president, national alumni association board, business school advisory board, executives-in-residence program, and contributing funding for an inter-disciplinary program for first year business students.

Music has always been part of Diane’s life. She is honored to be a Tucson Symphony Orchestra Trustee. She grew up in Milwaukee, WI, where she gained an early appreciation for classical music when attending the Milwaukee Pops with her family, and taking 10 years of piano lessons. Diane and her husband subscribed to the New York Philharmonic, and Diane served on a committee that launched the Symphony Club, a program targeted at young patrons. They also attended performances of the opera and ballet, as well as jazz clubs and Broadway shows. Now, Diane and Don are enthusiastic supporters of the Tucson Symphony. They also subscribe to the Colorado Symphony (Denver) and other arts organizations in Tucson and Tubac.
