Announcing Transcend Your Senses

We’re excited to announce an exciting new campaign for Your Tucson Symphony: Transcend Your Senses.

Transcend Your Senses emphasizes the transformative power of orchestral music. By stirring emotions, encouraging reflection, and fostering a sense of community, the movement reinforces TSO’s dedication to providing enriching cultural experiences that extend beyond the traditional concert hall, making the arts more accessible to all Tucsonans.

The movement is anchored by a new sound art activation at the Mercado San Agustin Annex: Momento Cósmico. Designed by Tucson-based artist and architect Myles Peña in partnership with BRINK Media Group, Momento Cósmico engages the senses by blending sight, sound, and touch into a unified, immersive experience. Set against the backdrop of Sentinel Peak (“A” Mountain), the reflective aluminum structure harmoniously integrates with the native plant life, creating a seamless connection with the surrounding landscape and the modern aesthetic of the Annex complex. As visitors step into the installation, they will be enveloped by the sounds of the TSO, performing music that highlights the upcoming season. The activation will be at the Annex through the end of January 2025, and is accessible during all open hours.

As part of the debut of Transcend Your Senses and Momento Cósmico, a brand-new piece of TSO merchandise has also landed: shirts designed and printed by Tucson’s own CREAM Design & Print. The shirts – including a limited-edition design featuring the 2024-25 season – will be available at concerts and online at: shop.creamforever.com/

Over the next several months, you’ll see the campaign roll out in other big and exciting ways, (Hint: keep an out for the new TSO streetcar wrap passing through Downtown Tucson). Stay tuned to your TSO for all the latest updates.
