Originally scheduled as guest artists for March 2021, José Luis interviews guest conductor Jessica Cottis and piano soloist Joyce Yang. They discuss the piano concerto commission from composer Jonathan Leshnoff, how elements of personal identity and natural surroundings can inform a musician, and what they look forward to most when they bring this music to Tucson.

Join us all day long on Johann Sebastian Bach’s birthday! TSO musicians have recorded many solo works of Bach which we will release throughout the day on the composer’s 336th birthday. This will showcase the whole orchestra as soloists!
