Lesson Plan: Patterns in Sound

Lesson Plan: Patterns in Sound

The lesson this week is about patterns in music, and in the world around us. This is a great activity for abstract thinkers, using one of the most recognizable pieces of all time: Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.

Every lesson provided by the Tucson Symphony is built for adjusting. You know your child’s learning style best, and are encouraged to use your judgement to expand or remove aspects of the activity to achieve the most engagement. Remember, you don’t need any musical training or special vocabulary to lead these activities. In fact, surveys have shown that working with TSO lesson plans help students learning English as a second language to engage better in classroom activities.
