Born in Mumbai, India, Minna has a degree in architecture from the University of Mumbai, and an MBA with Marketing and Finance majors from two colleges in New Jersey. She has more than ten years of personal training in Classical Dance of India, and a diploma in mountaineering from the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute.

Her professional experience began with two architectural firms in New York City specializing in college campuses, shopping malls, as well as private residences. After three years as a marketing consultant in Princeton, N.J., she directed planning and development departments for Dun & Bradstreet/Moody’s in NYC and New Jersey for 17 years and for a further three years in London.

Regular subscribers of a variety of performing arts venues in and around NYC and across the world during their travels, Minna and her late husband, Jay, moved from the East Coast to Tucson in 2000 (part-time at first) and became Tucson Symphony Orchestra subscribers, enjoying the artistic growth of the TSO over the years.

She partnered with Jay to finance and produce selected music recordings, one of which was a Grammy Winner in 1993 (World Music Category).
