In an effort to help schools manage rising transportation costs and myriad other factors affecting field trips, TSO has lowered the cost for KinderKonzerts (K-2) and Young Peoples Concerts (3-6) from $7/ticket to $5/ticket or $3/ticket for Title 1 Schools!

KinderKonzerts brings 4,000 students in grades K–2 and their teachers to the Berger Performing Arts Center for performances by the full Tucson Symphony Orchestra. These culturally diverse, 45-minute concerts utilize a variety of orchestral music to introduce students to the instruments and musicians of the orchestra, as well as musical concepts that connect to educational themes. Nearly 40 public, private, parochial and home school groups take part in TSO KinderKonzerts each year, with schools traveling from as far away as Oracle, Rio Rico, and Nogales.

As an educator for 12 years, I have never seen a children’s concert performed as appropriately as the one you did for us. … Thank you again, and I only hope that we can go again and again.

I am grateful for the Young People’s Concerts. The kids don’t always know what a gift it is to attend, but the concerts are always well done, and many students would not have this opportunity if it were not offered to schools.
— Teacher, Wilson K-8 School
This was a terrific experience. The way the concert was presented was perfect for the age group and was entertaining and educational.
