Michael and Melanie Fan have been performing in your Tucson Symphony Orchestra for a combined 66 years. Also a composer, Michael frequently composes music featured at TSO Just For Kids performances. Michael and Melanie have certainly missed performing for a live audience these past few months, so they decided to perform a sonata for two violins by French composer Jean-Marie Leclair from their home. They introduce their cats, Sophie and Bailey (and Charlotte, who was camera shy), and Michael also performs a jazz waltz for solo violin he composed and dedicated to Melanie.
