Symphony Supporter Spotlight: Fishkind, Bakewell, Maltzman, Hunter & Associates Eye Care & Surgery Center

“We love participating in arts and music to impact the Tucson community and bridge the gap between Healthcare and the Arts.”

If you’ve been to a Masterworks concert, you’ve likely seen the sign: Concert Comments are sponsored by Fishkind, Bakewell, Maltzman, Hunter & Associates Eye Care & Surgery Center (FBMH). The owners of FBMH have always placed an importance on music and have been hosting these fun and informative talks for many seasons.

Our relationship with FBMH is a wonderful partnership. Last season, Dr. Hunter reached out to take the next step. Could they sponsor Star Wars too? Of course, we said yes, and it was a great experience! The concert was a family affair: Dr. Hunter’s daughter, who studies violin with TSO musician Emily Nolan was able to see her teacher up on stage and his son is a huge movie fan. The whole staff at FBMH loves to get in on the action. The company holds an employee raffle for their extra TSO tickets and the staff also sign up to man their marketing table at Masterworks concerts because they truly enjoy hearing the performances. The FBMH employees love meeting the community and sharing the joy of live music. “The TSO is such an incredible asset in our community,” Dr. Hunter explains. “We want to see it grow and thrive.”

This year they’ve once again grown their support! You won’t just see them at Masterworks concerts, they’ve joined us as a sponsor of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark Live in Concert in October too.
