The 95th Season of your Tucson Symphony Orchestra opened with our very first Friday night Classics with a Twist concert. The new concert format included pre-concert art activities provided by our friends The Drawing Studio and entertainment by Naim Amor and the Cocktail Hours.
Our host for the evening was our very own 2nd Trumpet Betsy Bright and the soloist was the phenomenal Zee Zee who performed Franz Liszt’s Piano Concerto No. 1 in E♭ major. The next Classics with a Twist concert is Ravel And Dvořák on November 10, with conductor Keitaro Harada, and pianist David Fung.
